Regulatory Compliance and Safety
Reblade acts as Principal Contractor on most of our windfarm and wind turbine decommissioning projects, operating under the full CDM framework, the industry's most rigorous standard for health, safety and welfare on complex construction sites. Where project scale requires it, we manage F10 notifications to the HSE and ensure all welfare and reporting obligations are met as a matter of course.
Windfarm decommissioning presents multiple ESG risks, from health and safety to regulatory, and everything in between. Reblade are acknowledged experts in decommissioning wind turbines, which means every project is managed to the highest regulatory, environmental and welfare standards.
From project planning and on-site assessment through to material management, transport and end destination, our clients benefit from a seamless service that ensures all their windfarm derived material is managed safely and efficiently, and in full compliance with legislation.

Professional Standards
Our operating standards are built on over 30 years of experience working on windfarms across the UK and Europe. Every project is underpinned by detailed site documentation, rigorous handling processes and a robust quality management system supported by an integrated supply chain.
Under the CDM framework, we coordinate the full project structure, working alongside a principal designer and managing all subcontractors, welfare units and site logistics as principal contractor. All site personnel are experienced renewable energy technicians, with proven track records on both single turbine and multiple turbine decommissioning projects.
Impact Driven
With extensive experience on the developer side, we have a thorough understanding of the reporting, communication and stakeholder engagement requirements that come with projects of this scale. Communication touchpoints and impact documentation are built into project specifications from the outset.
We are committed to minimising environmental impact at every stage, in our site operations as well as material management, delivering a pragmatic and fully compliant solution throughout the decommissioning process.
